Recent high school graduate Connor Martin of Kingwood, Texas, is working toward his dream of entering the real estate industry. A former employee of Big TX Tire in Kingwood, Texas, Connor Martin has diverse interests that include the high fashion design house Louis Vuitton.

Louis Vuitton’s 2019 Spring/Summer show heralded the work of its newly appointed artistic director, Virgil Abloh. A former collaborator of hip-hop greats Jay-Z and Kanye West, Abloh entered the fashion industry in 2012 with the launch of his Pyrex Vision label.

The following year, Abloh started a high-end street wear line called OFF-WHITE. In 2015, he made the shortlist for the coveted LVMH Prize, which recognizes up-and-coming designers.

In his debut collection, Abloh was inspired by the classic film The Wizard of Oz. The show began with monochromatic, tailored pieces in a neutral palette. This soon transitioned into a kaleidoscope of colorful and wildly patterned street wear staples, ending with a spectacular holographic cape and matching bag. The spring/summer show has inspired Louis Vuitton’s latest eyewear collection, aptly titled Rainbow.
